Who sends St. Pat's gift baskets? Me. Mostly to my father because sometimes I just need a silly reason to send him a thinking of you thing. Who do you need a reason for? Send her a St. Paddy's Day basket. Who do you know who is still too freaked out to go to a bar but sure as hell is going to enjoy a beer for good ol' St. Patrick? Send that guy a basket. Pretty much every snacky thing we make that comes in a tin goes with beer and every tin comes complete with the Lucky You clover bottom.
BEER AND COOKIES
We eat cookies with lots of things. The Benne Wafer was made for an Aged, Sharpish Cheddar. We're working on a truffle cookie that goes with Snofrisk. We got published in Food & Wine for our cookie and wine pairings. And, yes we eat cookies with beer. On Fridays we typically drink an IPA and for that we like the Orange Fennel. But, on St. Patrick's day, where generally we drink Guinnes, we favor the Chocolate Chipotle. The smokey, slightly Spicy complements Guinness just right.
