This do-everything condiment has its roots in Vera Cruz and Oaxaca, Mexico. This sister to Chinese Chili Crisp has a decidedly Mexican flavor profile. We use it on nearly everything we eat. Eggs? Most definitely. Whether you like them sunny side up, in a scramble, or poached, this spicy, crunchy blend of flake chili, fried garlic and onion, pepitas, sesame, and cinnamon will brighten up any egg dish.

In addition to keeping a jar on the table as a go-to condiment, you can also use it to bring a simple protein or vegetable dish together. One of our favorites is a simple chicken salad with left over chicken, a dollop of your favorite mayonnaise and a scoop of this go-to condiment.

Delicious

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing this is. Chili crisp s'more was probably my most daring choice, and it did not disappoint. The texture and flavor enhance everything, sweet and savory.

OBSESSED

my friend and I went camping a few weeks ago and she brought this. I still don't really know what it is but i'm hooked! I put this on EVERYTHING. the fried garlic is *chefs kiss*

Move over Asian Chili Crisp!

Don't get me wrong, I totally heart Asian-style chili crisp, but this is a deliciously different jar of amazement with a Latin accent. Chilis, seeds, onions, fried garlic, and that hint of cinnamon that will keep you coming back for more, and wanting to keep experimenting on what you could concoct with it next. If you need an easy winner, try it with avocado toast to start then go from there!

Didn't know what I was missing!

I've never been one for spice, but this product has the perfect amount of kick. It goes well with eggs, as a dip for crackers, and a savory, crisp topping for a sandwich. Having never had salsa macha before, I'm glad this was my introduction! I'm converted

The condiment I didn't know I was missing

I agree with the other commenters...it's great on everything. This afternoon I was doing a refrigerator clean lunch so threw together leftover white beans and baked sweet potato, dressed that with the Salsa Macha then topped with sprouts and some sunflower seeds. nom nom nom! Yesterday morning I dolloped on fried eggs over cauliflower rice! I really want to use it with fish, I bet it would be amazing!
