When you can't be there to give the big hug, send one instead. This basket is an enveloping bear hug of snacks that holds them tight just enough -- not so short that they are left wondering if it happened and not so long that it is creepy. 

It comes with a large cold pack: charcuterie includes two Salamis and Smoked Salmon; 4 cheeses complete the cold pack with Beecher's Flagship, Cypress Grove Lambchopper, Ferndale Farms Smoked Scamorza, and Snofrisk. Pairings for the charcuterie and cheese include Mick's Pepper Jelly, Sister Carol’s Mustard, Pickled Red O's, and Pepperish. You have a tin of Potato Chips and Croccantini on which to build your bites. Round things out with Furikake and Bob’s Dilly Peanuts.

We’ve included Kiyomi’s Granola for a breakfast wake up. This basket is a large.

The felt basket is 22" long x 13" deep. With the handles the basket is about 15" tall. It ships in a 25" x 16" x 16" box.

A large dog or a small human adult can sit in this basket. A child will probably be compelled to get in it. I use it to hold an embarrassingly large collection of dog toys along with a dog blanket.

We got one of these for Christmas. Oh! the cheeses, the salami, snack mix, absolutly delish smoked salmon and Bob's nuts put it over the top. Lucky us

An amazing gift!

We were the lucky recipients of the Big Hug gift basket and we were blown away! All the items were delicious, so well paired and, just a little bit quirky. You can tell the people at this company love food! And the packaging is so pretty, I repurposed it to store craft items…a lovely, lasting reminder of such a thoughtful gift. I would highly recommended this gift basket. We certainly felt the love of the Big Hug!

I'm not one to submit reviews, but this time I had to. While I can't speak to the contents of this basket as I was the giver, not the recipient...I can speak to the experience I had sending this basket to a life long friend who just lost someone they loved. After I purchased the basket, I received a phone call from Bite Society asking if I would like to select one of their cards to include a special note to the recipient. I guess in my desire to send my friend some love from afar, I forgot to select a card. Bite Society genuinely cared that my sentiment was properly expressed to my friend. I don't think one of the big online retailers would have done the same. I'm a customer for life now.

A Perfectly Curated Moveable Feast

I'm not quite sure what the best part of this gift basket really is. The fact that everything tasted fresh and hand-made, or the fact that it actually is fresh and hand-made. It's kinda like getting a really big gift basket from your grandma, but she made everything herself instead of ordering it from some big-box online store that has a warehouse of dried meats from 2013. Not only will we be ordering for ourselves again, but we'll be ordering for our friends and family and customers! Thanks Bite Society!
