Hot Cocoa

Something about the crisp, cold weather makes me want hot cocoa. If the white stuff happens to fall, it's a must. Christmas morning. Check, roger, check. Baby marshmallows? OK. Whip? Now, we're talking.
You know how Miss Swiss is always a little light on chocolate and a bit thin. And, then you wonder... why am I mixing this with water. Well, our hot cocoa is a rich, extra-chocolately cocoa you mix with milk. You heat that milk on the stove top to a simmer and then you whisk in the cocoa mix. Continue to heat until the chocolate melts -- you'll see little flecks of chocolate then they'll just melt away into the milk. OK... now you are ready. Fill the mugs. Hit it with the whip (cream, that is). Sink into your favorite chair with a great book... or watch Elf again.
