No joke here. We just love this southern classic. Try it. You won’t regret it. Not like what you did last night. That you will regret just a little, but the Bennes may help with that.

Seriously, this is a classic American cookie simply made with sesame seeds that works as well with a chunk of aged white cheddar as it does with a bowl of ice cream. Crunchy and light, it makes the perfect bite (yeah, we went there).

This tin of cookies contains two sleeves with 20 Benne Wafers per sleeve. That is 20 cookies for now, and 20 cookies for later. And sometimes later comes faster than you planned.


Ingredients: Brown Sugar, Sesame Seeds, Whole Egg, Flour, Butter, Salt, Baking Soda, Vanilla

I’m Obsessed

These are some of the best cookies I have ever had, all excellent ingredients (no corn in anything that shouldn’t have it) and the coolest of packaging. The sesame of flavor is not too heavy and balances nicely with the crispy sweet buttery crisp cookie. All that with excellent customer service too! (Only note, don’t leave these out or they get more chewy - unless that’s your thing)

Mighty punch 🥊 for such a little cookie

Stumbled upon this shop in my trip to Seattle at Pike's Place Market. Many delicious cookies but I settled on these for so crisp and tasty.
Eat them day or night with coffee or tea.

Amazingly perfect!!

I happened upon the Bite Society store on a recent visit to Seattle. I purchased several of their cookies but the BENNE WAFER is by far my favorite!! So lite and delicate and definitely a before and AFTER dinner cookie!! You'll be addicted like me once you try them.

Just Buy These...Really.

I'm actually quite surprised to be the first reviewer for these addictively delicious cookies. If the idea of crispy brown butter nutty slightly salty sweet flavor goodness doesn't get you salivating, then you just need to trust me that these are ridiculously tasty and you'll want more when you're finished. Eat them alone, eat them with some sharp or aged cheese, just eat them.
